At 27 years I weighed in at about 82 Kilo’s. All my life Id been on the wrong side of the scale. At times I couldn’t hold my hands straight down to my sides. I know most of you wouldn’t picture this about me but its true. I developed a back ache and the doctor recommended loosing weight. Not used to any form of sporting or athletic activity I was lost. Oct 8th 2007, Monday 8 AM! I wake up cursing Gautam for waking me up after a late night following my wedding anniversary. He wants me to turn up for training, the prelude to the National Carting Championship the following weekend. I’m on two minds to actually do it. At 32 and closing in on 84Kgs I’m not the typical frame for a go cart. Egged on by Dominic of similar vintage but 25 K’s on the lighter side I decide to give it a go. Something I will never regret. This is my first serious effort at blogging. I don’t presume myself to be much of a writer. Blogging has taken my fancy for quite some time now and so today I thought I might as well do something about it. Writer or not if all goes well you will see a few more blog sites cropping up as my ideas take shape. I’m almost on the verge of completing 32 years on planet Earth as September 14th approaches. A stark reminder every year that I am getting oldererrrrrrrrrr!
